How Do You Like Your Burger?
Thursday is National Hamburger Day. And, as always, I think you should celebrate. Even little things like a delicious hamburger!
Numerous deli and diner owners across the United States claim that their joint is responsible for inventing the burger. However, there seems to be some consensus amongst historians that the food as we know it today truly gained popularity at the 1904 World’s Fair in St. Louis, an event that also gave us the ice-cream cone. If you know anything about me, you know I have a connection to the St. Louis World’s Fair so I’m just gonna say that theory is the correct one! 🙂
