Renewal Monday 2024

Easter is over, but the celebration doesn’t end.
Our Lenten journey ends, but the JOY journey never ends.
He’s Alive! New life begins. Spring is in the air.
We have reason to be JOYFUL. Every single day.
The CELEBRATION of Resurrection Sunday should live in our hearts every day.

Before ascending to heaven, Jesus spent 40 days on earth.
During this time, He appeared before many to confirm His resurrection.
He healed the sick, spread the Good News, and ministered to His disciples. In doing so, He prepared them for the monumental task of spreading the message of Christ to the world:

Go, then, to all peoples everywhere and make them my disciples: baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teach them to obey everything I have commanded you. And be sure of this: I’ll be with you as you do this, day after day after day, right up to the end of the age. – Matthew 28:19-20

Simply put, our lives should reflect the joy of the Lord. Our actions should demonstrate our allegiance to Him. Our words should include the Good News of what Jesus did for us.

This Renewal Monday is the day to renew our commitment to His great commission!

We have resurrection power living on the inside and we’re no longer bound by sin and darkness. He has given us freedom!

I took the photo above yesterday morning from our roof as the sun rose on Easter morning. A beautiful way to start the day.

Thank you for taking this Lenten Journey with me this year. If you missed any along the way, you can find them all here at www.CelebrationsDivine.com. And remember the steps in the journey can be taken all year long, not just during the Lenten season.

I pray you’ve discovered meaningful insights throughout this journey. It’s been encouraging to hear from many of you about your own experiences. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to share these with me or if you need prayer. It would be a privilege to lift you up.

May you cultivate a life of faithful devotion, sacrificial service to others, grateful generosity, and may all your celebrations (tiny and big) be filled with JOY!
